Spinning Workshop: And it Begins with Three…

Saturday November 18th 2017 | 10:00am to 4:00pm
Fergus Masonic Hall | 310 St. Andrew Street East, Fergus, ON
Have you ever wondered how many different yarns you
can spin using just three colours? A triad of colours is a
great way to experiment with yarn design. You will learn to
design and spin yarns using an assortment of simple fibre
preparations, spinning variations and plying methods.
Come and see how three colours can be used to create
interesting and complex colour combinations in yarn design
using simple and easy spinning techniques!

Instructor: Beth Showalter

Equipment List: Spinning Wheel, 3 to 5 empty bobbins + Lazy Kate,
Hand Carders, Optional: Spindle, Wool Combs, etc.

​Skill Level: Able to comfortably spin yarns.
