We are a community of fibre enthusiasts drawing members from the Wellington County area.
During the pandemic the guild is not meeting person but has scheduled Zoom session the second Wednesday of the month from September to June. We also have several study groups focused on weaving, spinning, knitting, and dyeing.
Normally, we host meetings from September to June. Most of the year we have two meetings a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening. The first is weaving centric and the second is spinning centric. In September, December, and June we have joint meetings to say hello, celebrate the season, and say goodbye.
We also have an extensive library, tools and equipment available for rent, and several smaller groups that get together for knit alongs, and study groups.
If you would like to check us out feel free to come to a meeting or two as a guest. Please let us know you will be coming so that someone can give you a tour.
Our meetings are held at Kortright Presbyterian Church 55 Devere Drive Guelph Ontario N1G 2T3
Please note this is not our mailing address. If you have need to send us something via the post please contact us and we can give you the appropriate address.
When you go in the main doors, hang a right down the corridor and just before the bend there is a pair of doors on the right leading through a coat room and that's where we'll be.
