Lady Slipper Alpacas

Most of you know me from GHS but may not know about my Lady Slipper Alpaca products.

If you are looking to add to your stash or try something new, I have a huge variety of yarns and roving for sale. I just picked up my latest batch of inventory from Donna's mill and it includes something new for me. It's Suri alpaca blends in natural and dyed colours. Suri fibre is very silky and has a wonderful lustre to it.

My yarn selection includes everything from laceweight to lopi style in both natural and dyed colours. If it comes from a specific alpaca, I'll print the picture and name on the label so that you will know that the item created from this yarn was courtesy of ``Walnut``.

I also have a variety of roving in 100% alpaca, alpaca wool blends, natural and dyed, as well as some dyed alpaca silk blends.

My "Inspired By My Garden Collection" kits include three  50g skeins dyed to match a picture from my garden. I have six different collections: Hosta, Zinnia, Peony, Iris, Lilac and Daylily. I`ve attached some pictures for you

My knitting kits are exclusive designs for my yarns, by Alexis Hoy of Phibersmith Designs (Guelph ) and include a  pattern,  yarn and  farm photos of my alpacas.

As we could not enjoy the benefits of fibre shows this past year, now is a great opportunity to support your local farmer (me) and local businesses (Lady Slipper Alpacas, Wellington Fibre Mill and Phibersmith Designs). When you get in touch with me (519-843-1663), we can make comfortable and convenient arrangements for your shopping experience.

A small selection of my products is also available at String Theory Yarn Store, in Fergus.
